Live from New York...it's the National Public Policy Forum (NPPF) Finals!
The NPPF is only contest that gives high school students the opportunity to participate in written and oral debates on issues of public policy. The oral debate finals of this global competition take place annually on the New York University campus. Students compete for a $10,000 grand prize and the Bickel & Brewer Cup!

alex on T; this first example isnt relating directly to the case, but its an example of US companies working outside the untied states. in the United States, people have been buying cars from foreign countries while complaining about the economy. but from what i have heard, its a trend in other copuntries to buy american cars, because they are cheaper-because they are made in countries that require small investments to get a huge profit. this same thing could happen in other countries (not nessesarily to gain profit), but the USFG could send construction companies to impoverished areas in africa, south amercia, europe, or asia. this was the same arguement used against gag rule in the africa topic.

ReplyDeleteAMartin: While I think it would be good to have, because I am sure someone is going to try to increase social services outside the United States, I think that you would be hard pressed to find a judge that would vote on that argument without some hard examples and not just hypothetical conjecture.
